From Dated Room to Modern Retreat

The project began with a full strip-out of the existing space. Floorboards were lifted to access joists and services, old wall finishes were removed, and awkward storage areas were opened up. This allowed us to rework the layout and make better use of the available floor area, particularly under the sloping ceilings.

Once the ensuite was complete, focus returned to the bedroom itself. New flooring was installed, walls and ceilings were plastered and painted, and the exposed beams were treated and finished to become a standout feature of the room.
