Materials and Manufacture

Our design and construction methods were put in place to provide the finest quality garden room products available on the market; and all at the best possible price.

You are guaranteed the same high-level quality throughout the entire product range as standard, each of our buildings come with all the essentials you need to get you settled into your garden room right away.

Each stage of the build process is shown in more detail below -

Foundation -

To provide strength and support for the garden room.

There are two ways the foundation can be installed.

1) 100mm Concrete Slab.

2) Ground Screws (opposite)

During the site survey we will discuss each option and depending on the area the build is sitting, we will help you make a fully informed decision.

Structure -

SIPS panels are available in various thicknesses, SIP panels are made up of polyurethane foam and 2 layers of OSB (oriented strand board). During manufacturing, the polyurethane insulation is injected between 2 sheets of OSB leaving no scope for poor areas of insulation or cold spots.

SIPS buildings are more environmentally responsible, energy efficient, strong, quiet and draft free than the majority of traditional construction methods.

Externally -

Firstly we wrap the SIPS with a 100% waterproof, breathable membrane.

Then we fix treated roofing battens creating a gap for air to flow around the building.

Finally your choice of 4 types of cladding (3 timber and a render finish) is fixed to the battens

The result - A stunning finish to cope easily with the British climate all year round.

Internally -

Thin battens are fixed to the OSB board leaving space for the electric cabling giving you freedom to have what you want, where you want it.

On the Eco model; slim line white double power sockets and switches.

Melamine boards finish off the interior

On the other ranges you have a choice of chrome, stainless steel and brushed nickel

with a plastered finish as standard.

All our electrics are carried out and certified by a fully registered electrician.

We offer a number of choices of floor covering to compliment the design and use of your building.

Similarly we offer many choices for heating including underfloor heating, electric panel heating - our designers can advise the most cost effective and efficient option for your building based on your requirements.
